My name is Maureen Wilk and I am a proud member of the board. I have served for a little over a year. I have worked in the substance abuse field for 27 years. I have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, and I am a CASAC. My current role is Regional Service Coordinator for White Deer Run Treatment Centers. I love my job! I work with many different agencies as well as the legal system to get clients where they need to be.
Some of my best memories of working in this field is when a client calls to let you know they are still sober and doing well! It helps me remember why I chose this field. I am passionate about helping people! We live in an amazing community with so many amazing professionals who are able to provide help to those struggling with addiction. We have so many resources in this community and we function like a team!
My favorite place to be is the beach but I love fall here In Buffalo! The colors are amazing. I have to say my greatest accomplishment is being a mom! Most challenging, thankless and rewarding job ever!
