Catherine Roberts has been the Senior Vice President for Program Administration at the Community Action Organization of Western New York for 12 years where she oversees program operations for one of the largest, not-for-profit, human services agencies in the area. She provides strategic leadership for programs and services that promote self-sufficiency and support to people in low-income communities. In her spare time, she is also a part-time Adjunct Professor for Houghton College.

Catherine earned a B.S. in Business, Management and Economics from SUNY Empire State College, an MBA from St. Bonaventure University and a certificate in performance management from the Harvard Business School Executive Education program. She is also a Health Leadership Fellow with the Health Foundation for Western and Central New York.

In addition to proudly serving as the Treasurer of the board for The Prevention Council of Erie County, Catherine is a board member of Consumer Credit Counseling Service, Girl Scouts of WNY and a Founding Trustee and Board Secretary of the Persistence Prep Academy Charter School. She is also on the board advisory council of Women Who Lead WNY.

Some of the numerous awards that she has received include the SUNY Empire Emerging Leader of the Year Award, City of Buffalo Women in Leadership Award, City Honors School Distinguished Alumni Award, the Buffalo Black Achievers Award and NYS Community Action Association Leadership Award. She is also a Business First “Women of Influence in Nonprofit Leadership” honoree.
