Bill Thomas is the owner of three businesses within the City of Buffalo community: APS, Home2Mi and Sign & Serve Inc. APS Foreclosure Cleanout Services of Western New York Inc., a preservation company that specializes in refurbishing and managing real estate. APS employs individuals who have come out of incarceration by providing opportunities that most employers “shun” from, helping these individuals to get reacclimated with society and their families. The owner of Home2MI, a real estate Development Company that specializes in creating affordable housing. Bill is Co- Owner of Sign and Serve. We provide legal services for Attorneys, Landlords and Consumers who are searching for individuals who may not want to be found or are going into litigation, deliver and notarize documents for court.

He takes pride in employing individuals who have come out of incarceration by providing opportunities that most employers “shun” from, helping these individuals to get reacclimated with society and their families.

Outside of running the businesses, Bill is employed with the U.S Small Business Administration, Damage Verification Center as a Loss Verification Specialist, assisting individuals in rebuilding their home and or business due to a natural disaster. Bill is also a Consultant to the Tax Professionals Lawler & Witkowski CPA’S, PC.

Bill’s passion is “giving back” to the community. A few of the ways he does this is by providing “Hot Meals to Go” and facilitating Firearm Safety Awareness & Self Defense Classes to the community, and removing snow for the elderly/disabled. Since 2014, he has held an annual “Hot Thanksgiving Meals To Go” which, during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic, over 550 meals were provided each year. Groceries to the community were provided as well on a monthly basis. He has also partnered with many other community organizations to further extend its outreach efforts.

Bill is a Board of Directors Member with the African American Cultural Center Organization, The Prevention Council of Erie County, a member of Prince Hall Free and Accepted Masons, The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, A Noble of Hadji Temple Number 61, President of The Dorie Miller Rifle & Pistol Club, Amherst Parent Teacher Association, and Most Valuable Parent Association. He is a man of God and enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
